Carolyn Jeannine Pinto, 82, entered into rest on February 14, 2018 in Manteca. She was born on May 19, 1935 in Spencer, Iowa.  In heaven Carolyn joins her husband of 55 years Bill Pinto.
   Carolyn leaves behind her children, Mark Pinto Allen of Manteca, Gina Pinto Allen (Mike) of Ripon and Jill Pinto Bratton (Scott). She was blessed with seven grandchildren, Madison Allen, Paris Allen, Megan MaGill, Krista Bratton, Haley Bratton and Bobby Bratton. In addition she was blessed with two grandchildren, William Jacob and Lauren Meahan.  Carolyn is also survived by her brother Kevin Fischer of Modesto.
   Carolyn was a Manteca resident since 1960. She was a teacher the early part of her marriage and would later stay home with her children. She would then teach again at Sequoia Elementary School. She was a member at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church where she was a part of St. Vincent de Paul. She was a member of the Women’s Service Club, the Manteca Garden Club and designed medals for Volks Marchers International. She enjoyed playing bridge and looked forward to spending time on the green with her Spring Creek 9 Hole Ladies as well as being a gourmet cook.
Carolyn was beyond talented. She played the piano, painted beautifully and kept her garden immaculate. She made the most beautiful memories for her family.  She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, such as spending time in Capitola and in Santa Cruz for summers. She loved her family dearly and showed it at every opportunity. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend.
   P.L. Fry and Son is honored to serve the Pinto family. A celebration of life will be held in her honor on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca. She will be scattered along with her husband in their favorite place off the coast of Santa Cruz.
