Carolyn Marie Cochran, 64, entered into rest on October 28, 2016 in Ceres, CA. She was born on September 7, 1952 in Tamaqua, Oklahoma. She was a lifetime resident of both Manteca and Lathrop.
   Carolyn is preceded in death by her brother Wayne Marain. She is survived by her loving family; husband of 42 years James Cochran, son Jimmy Cochran Jr. and daughter Pamela Houston (Jeremy Chambers). She was blessed by five grandchildren Brian, Chevrolet, Noah, Hunter and Caitlyn. She has four surviving siblings; Buddy Marain, Clyde Marain, Mary Jo Branford and Brenda Largent. 
   Carolyn was in the medical industry working as a care taker for over 15 years. She was a Manteca High School graduate, class of 1971. Carolyn’s energy was like no other, she was always on the go and ready for any new adventure. She was an avid lighter collector, collecting many unique lighters from around the United States. Carolyn will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed.
