Charles (Charlie) Ervin Richardson, 69, passed away, November 18,2024, at his home of 49 years in Manteca, CA with his wife by his side following a long battle with cancer.

   He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jean (McCleerey) Richardson; his daughter, Jennifer (Richardson) Mastro, son-in-law, Mark Mastro; his son, Eric Richardson and daughter-in-law Shauna Richardson; his sister, Cindy Wyrick and five grandchildren, Kadin Richardson, Tylor Richardson, Patrick Cole, Madden Mastro and Mallory Mastro.  He was proceeded in death by his parents Calvin and Virginia Richardson.

   Charlie was born Tracy, CA on July 24, 1955.  He was raised in and presided in Manteca, CA his entire life.  He attended Golden West Elementary School and East Union High School where he graduated in 1974.

   Directly after high school, Charlie began the first half of his career as a truck driver working for various companies.  After working in this field for over 20 years he went on to work for Manteca Unified School District in their Maintenance Department where is he actively involved in the Classified Employees Union.  He retired from MUSD with 20 years of service January 2020.  From a young age Charlie enjoyed dirt bike riding and continued to do so through his later years.  He also enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle to and from work and on the weekends.  He was an avid San Francisco 49ers and Giants fans.  He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and great nieces. He will be missed by all who knew him.
