Charlotte Louise Shannon Wilderson, 87, entered into rest on January 25, in Manteca. She was born on June 25, 1924 to Fred Shannon and Ethel (Westfall) Shannon in Long Beach, CA

Charlotte was raised in Paso Robles. Charlotte married the love of her life Chester (Chet) Wilderson, December 30, 1945. They were married 60 beautiful years. Chet preceded her in death February 9, 2006. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Ivan and Richard Shannon along with brother-in-law Oliver Amos.

She leaves behind her children, Bonnie Small and husband Virgil of Manteca and Larry Wilderson and wife Barbara of Riverbank. Charlotte was blessed with six grandchildren, David Wilderson of Riverbank, Tracy Hoskins of TX, David Small and wife Sheryl of Tracy, Lisa Arnesen of Tracy, Glenn and wife Lisa of Reno, Steve and Pat Small of Castro Valley. She has six great grandchildren, Robert, Grant, Jimmy, Jackie, Corey and Juliann.

Charlotte also leaves her sister Velma Amos of Everett WA. as well as many nieces, nephews and loving friends.

Arrangements for Mrs. Wilderson are under the direction of P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca. Services will be private and held at a later day.
