Cheryl “Sheri” Morrow, 42, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 26, 2010. She was born December 11, 1967 to Ron and Janet Morrow. In Heaven she’ll join her brother, Ricky Morrow. A lifelong resident of Manteca, Sheri attended elementary and high school locally and worked for Goodwill as a sales clerk for several years.

Sheri leaves behind her loving companion of over 25 years, Bob Williams; children, Kristin and Robert Williams all of Manteca; parents, Ron & Janet Morrow of Oakdale; grandmother, Bessie Walker of Pine Grove and one cherished grandson, Anthony Dixon. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Sheri enjoyed the simple things in life; tending to her yard & garden, testing her luck on the slot machines at the nearby casinos and baking; cookies and sweets were her favorites. She also enjoyed hanging out at her parents’ house, where she and Bob would often sneak down to the lake to go fishing. Her love for the great outdoors made wonderful family getaways; annual camping trips to Don Pedro for fishing and rock collecting or car rides to the coast to sit on the beach and watch the sunset on the ocean waves.

Sheri treasured her family beyond words; one of her greatest joys was becoming a grandma. She will forever be remembered for her amazing personality and generous heart; Sheri was always putting others before herself and would do anything for anyone.

Arrangements are under the direction of P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 4, 2010. Remembrances may be made in Ms. Morrow’s name to Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, CA 95204.
