Clarence Williams, age 88, entered into rest on January 21, 2021, after a short illness. He was born in Salida, California on November 8, 1932 to the late Clarence S. Williams, Sr. and Lillian (Skinner) Williams. He married his wife of 69 years, Eleanor Grubeck, in 1951, and they had two sons, Dan and Russ.
   Clarence worked over 50 years as a building contractor prior to his retirement. He was a very social person and no one was a stranger. His hobbies included bowling, golfing, fishing, and being with his family and friends. He loved attending sporting events for both of his sons, and eventually for his grandsons, Michael and Zachary. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother.
   Clarence is survived by his wife Eleanor Williams, sons, Dan (Cecilia) Williams, and Russ (Debbie) Williams, his grandchildren Danielle Williams, Zachary (Lexi) Williams, Michael (Sarah) Williams, great-grandson Hudson Williams, brother Rod (Carol) Williams.
   Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Friday, January 29, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Daneri Mortuary Chapel, 415 Broadway, Jackson, CA. Interment will take place at Sunset View Cemetery, Jackson, CA. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting  www.danerimortuary.com and signing the guest book.
