Curtis James Dearmin passed away at the age 64.

Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday April 15, 2012 at 2 pm at Calvary Community Church on Lathrop Rd., Manteca.

Curtis was born and raised in Stockton, CA. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked for the San Joaquin County Marshals Office and had his own investigation business. He retired from Manteca Unified School District to care for his wife Joyce who suffered from Multiple Sclerosis. Curtis was then again blessed and married his current wife, Barbara, and moved to Amarillo. Curtis loved life and lived every day to the fullest. While living in Texas he was serving in the Chaplain’s office at Boys Ranch. Curtis had the loving and giving heart of a caregiver. He was truly a man of God who lived his strong Christian faith out in his daily life. In his time at Boy’s Ranch, he touched and enriched the lives of many young people. Curtis believed that “Its all a part of the Journey”. Gods journey for all of us. He was such a positive man thru all diversity and tributlations.

In his spare time, he enjoyed RV’ing, travelling, camping, hunting, and fishing. The passion of his life, was loving his wife, children, and grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father, Mark Twain Dearmin; and his first wife, Joyce Dearmin.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Dearmin; his daughter, Kim, his son, Sean, four grandchildren; Kayleigh, Gabriela, Mateo, and Nicco; his mother, Virginia Dearmin; brothers Dennis Dearmin and Kevin Dearmin and numerous nieces and nephews.
