Born on April 18, 1943 in Richmond, CA, Dale F. Summers, 75, peacefully entered into rest surrounded by his loving family December 28, 2018 in Manteca.          

   He is preceded in death by his father Orbie F. Summers, mother Reetha Mathews and stepfather Howard Mathews, siblings, Beverly Steves and Karen Summers.

   Mr. Summers is survived by his loving family, wife of 45 years Patty Summers,  children, Brad Summers (Wendy), Brian Summers (Cheryl) and Lauri Grove (James), grandchildren Vicki Moore, Alexis McInnis, Marina Summers, Abbigayle Ward, Devon Summers, Lily Grove and James Grove, one great-grandson Chase Summers, siblings, Sue Cardoza and Daniel Summers. 

   Dale was a resident of Manteca for over 70 years where he graduated from Manteca High School in 1961. He was the owner and operator of Manteca Auto Mart on Yosemite Avenue where he served his community for over 40 years. Dale had a passion for classic cars and enjoyed attending car shows. He was a proud 34-year member of Alcoholic Anonymous where he met many lifelong friends and supporters. Dale will be remembered as a devoted husband a wonderful father and an amazing grandfather.     P.L. Fry & Son is honored to be serving the Summers family. A memorial prayer service will be held on January 11, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at P.L. Fry & Son, 290 N.
