OBIT DeLoach

Dan DeLoach, 48, entered into eternal rest on September 30, 2011 in Manteca, California.  He was born on January 16, 1963 in Livermore, California.

Mr. DeLoach is survived by his girlfriend, Cheryl J. Welch of Stockton, his mother Doris DeLoach of Manteca, his father Dave DeLoach and step-mother Gayle DeLoach of Brentwood, his siblings, Dr. Dennis and his wife Camille DeLoach of Delta, Utah, Donna DeLoach Cookson of Manteca, his nine loving nieces and nephews, and his two great nephews.  He is preceded in death by his loving brothers, Dave and Doug DeLoach.

Dan’s childhood was spent in Othello, Washington, and he spent the past 30 years in the Manteca/Stockton area.  He was a merchandiser for several retail hardware and lumber sales stores.  Dan’s greatest passion was his love for the Lord.  He was an active member of Quail Lakes Baptist Church in Stockton.  He created a ministry at his church called “Servant’s Heart” that helped serve the elderly, single mothers, and widows.  Dan absolutely loved the outdoors and treasured spending time with his family, as well as golfing.  He will be forever missed.

Mr. DeLoach’s services are being handled by P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Rd. in Manteca. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Calvary Community Church, 815 W. Lathrop Rd., Manteca, CA.  95336 at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 10, 2011. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Quail Lakes Baptist Foundation, 1904 Quail Lakes Drive, Stockton, CA, 95207.
