Daniel “Danny” Jesse Limas Jr. peacefully entered into rest on Friday, April 19, 2013 in Manteca, CA. He was born on March 17, 1947 in Stockton, CA. Danny joins his parents, Daniel and Mary Limas and his brothers, David, Salvador, Johnny and Ronnie Limas in heaven.

Danny graduated from Manteca High School in 1965 and was a lifelong resident of Manteca. As an oldie but goodie, he had a lifelong passion for classic cars, music and dancing. Danny loved to sing  along with his favorite oldies songs as they played on his jukebox.  He was also known as a wonderful dancer who was very “light on his feet.” In addition, Danny loved photography and he was fascinated by astronomy. He enjoyed sitting outside during a warm summer night to gaze up at the moon and stars in the sky.

Danny married the love of his life,  Dee Dee Limas on October 12, 1974.  Together, they owned and operated Lucca’s Beer and Wine in Manteca.  Lucca’s was Danny’s “home away from home” and it was there that he enjoyed spending time with his family and some of his closest friends. He loved shooting pool, playing cards and shaking dice while listening to his favorite songs.

Danny is survived by his loving wife Dee Dee Limas, children,  Ernie Corral of Manteca and Danielle (Adrien Rueda) of Stockton, grandchildren Ernie “Niko” Michael Corral and Anthony Steven Cervantez both of Manteca, and great grandchild Alizay Cervantez of Manteca.  In addition, he is survived by his sisters, Theresa Limas and Anna Limas both of Manteca, and many nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Danny possessed a larger than life personality and he is now free to sing and dance upon the stars in the moonlit sky.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
