Daniel William “Dan” Stone 57, entered into rest on Thursday, March 31, 2011 in Tracy California. He was born on Oct. 9, 1953 in Oregon to the late Edward and Helen Stone.
He leaves behind his loving wife Renee Stone whom he shared 37 amazing years with. His beloved children: Bryan Stone and wife Sharon of Elk Grove and Crystal Wright and husband Michael of Santa Rosa. He was blessed with one grandbaby Lorelai Stone and the newest little addition Baby Tyler on the way. Dan was a brother to Steven Banas and wife Sandy of Palm Desert and Patrick Banas and wife Meridee of New Port Beach. He was also an uncle to Mark and Daniel Bans of San Clemente and Guy and Michael of Reno.
Dan was a mechanic for Cemex Concrete Company. He was in the concrete business for over 15 years. He was a hard worker always putting his family needs before his. He enjoyed a good barbeque whether it be camping or usually in his own back yard. He would spend time fishing and like every good fisher man, storytelling about his previous catch. He had a true passion for NASCAR and he would never miss out on an exciting game of baseball, cheering on his favorite teams the Oakland A’s and San Francisco Giants, and who could forget football; the 49ers were always #1 for him. Dan had a true heart of gold, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was an honorable father as he knew how to guide his children with caring, love and respect. Dan had no boundaries his love was endless as he loved his children and their spouses the same. His granddaughter was the apple of his eye, she could do no wrong. He was a devout husband and loved his wife Renee more than words can say. He will be remembered for his no nonsense personality, his delicious Barbeques and for being the best father to his children and a true husband to his wife. He will be missed immensely.
