Darlene Sizelove, given as a gift to her parents on Dec. 20, 1938 was called home May 21, 2009.

Born in Yuba City, Darlene eventually settled in Manteca in 1979. Devoted to the Lord, Darlene tithed with love and an open ear. Darlene’s happiest years were in Manteca raising her youngest son Pete, ministering to latch key children, and caring for her grandchildren. Her passions were Christian studies, her grandchildren, politics, and letter writing.

Preceeded in death by husband Ronald, son Ronald Gene, and daughter Donna Jo, survived by children; Wayne, Pete, Randy, daughter Linda, her brother Tom, sister Donna, cousin Sylvia, and many grandchildren. Graveside services Saturday, June 13, at noon at Oak Hill Funeral Home, San Jose, CA. Donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation.
