Darrel Lee Foster, age 55, entered into rest on March 12, 2013 in Lodi.  He was born on August 9, 1957 in Salt Lake City, UT.  He was a resident of Lodi and previously lived in Manteca. 

 Darrel is survived by his loving wife, Terri Foster of Lodi; his parents Bob and Janice Foster of Salt Lake City, UT; his children, Rob Foster and Elisha Foster, both of Manteca.  He was blessed with one grandchild, Covey Jackson Papworth.  Darrel is also survived by his siblings, Paul Foster (Michele), Karl Foster (Holly), Mike Foster (Lisa) all of Salt Lake City, UT, and Debra Gabbard (John) of Tacoma, WA, as well as many nieces and nephews. 

Darrel was a Pricing Manager in the Logistics field for over 30 years.  He enjoyed wine tasting, wine culture, cooking, and good cuisine dining out.  Darrel was a Giants baseball, hockey and football fan.  He was a movie buff and loved traveling, Italy being one of his travel destinations.  Darrel loved his children and his grandson.  He loved life.  Darrel will be missed by all who knew and loved him.   

Services for Darrel Lee Foster have been entrusted to PL Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Road, Manteca.  A visitation will be held on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 1pm to 5pm at PL Fry & Son Funeral Home.  A service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 1:00pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Union Chapel, 700 N.
