David was a resident of Escalon where he lived with wife Mary. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with their many cats, dogs, and horses. Nothing pleased him more than cooking a large meal and have the family gather around to enjoy it. He loved his wife and family more than words can express. He was known for his generosity and thoughtfulness. One of his favorite things to do was to brag about and show off pictures of his granddaughters' riding accomplishments. His hobbies included taking his mother-in-law, Reba Turnbull, to Jackson on weekends to do a little a gambling.
