Nothing pleased him more than cooking a large meal and have the family gather around to enjoy it. He loved his wife and family more than words can express. He was known for his generosity and thoughtfulness. One of his favorite things to do was to brag about and show off pictures of his granddaughters' riding accomplishments. His hobbies included taking his mother-in-law, Reba Turnbull, to Jackson on weekends to do a little a gambling. Over the years his other hobbies included old antique cars and trucks, slot machines, coin and dollar collecting, remote control cars and planes, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
He was truly a great man and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
