Yes on Q effort surpasses $100K to push passage
Manteca businesses, labor groups, firefighters, local residents, youth sports organizations, and builders have a lot riding on Measure Q on Tuesday’s ballot. As of Oct. 27, the Yes on Q Committee has now raised $103,549.30 to fund its campaign to gain passage of the 20-year long three-quarter cent sales tax on Nov. 5.

Born on July 12, 1959, Debbie Ann Gumm entered into rest on June 1, 2016.  She joins her mother in heaven Shirley Wetzel, and her sister Diane Troedel.
   Debbie is survived by her father Samuel Holbrook; husband of 30 years Gary Gumm; children Nicole Centofanti (Paul) and Sean Gumm (David).  She adored her only grandchild Emma Centofanti.
   In addition, Debbie is survived by her two brothers, David Holbrook (Charlotte) and Jeff Wetzel; her nephew and nieces Drake (Sabrina), Courtnye, and Kaylin Holbrook; and her great nephew Hayden Holbrook.
   Debbie had a beautiful free-spirit outlook on life. She enjoyed the fun things in life - dancing, conversations with others, laughter and family. She was extremely outgoing as she never met a stranger. She truly loved being a mom, and especially loved being Yaya to her granddaughter Emma, who she cherished.  Debbie always loved unconditionally and family was always first and foremost.
