Deborah Morrisa Mercer, 57, died Friday, July 17, 2009 at her residence in Lathrop. She was born on Feb. 11, 1952 in San Jose. She lived in Lathrop for four years, prior in Manteca for 15 years.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Henry Mercer of Lathrop; step-father, Bud Regelin of Twain Harte; children, Alex Burgos of Sonora, Jacob Burgos, Jonathan Burgos and Allison Burgos all of Lathrop; siblings, Stephanie Devilbiss of Manteca, Scott Regelin of Sonora, Jay Regelin of Fremont and Juan Davis of Temecula; grandson, Corbin Burgos of Sonora.

Debbie was a former clerical manager in Manteca and a vocal coach. She filled her life with love, laughter and music. We will continue to hear her song, for she recorded her greatest hits album in our hearts. We honor her as we share the melodies of fond memories with one another.

Celebration of Life Service is Friday, August 14, at 1 p.m. at P.L. Fry & Son, 290 N. Union Road, Manteca. A reception will follow at the family home. Final resting place will be private.
