Debra Joann Davis born on July 26, 1953 entered into rest on February 25, 2014 in Manteca. She was 60 years old. 

Ms. Davis is survived by her former husband and friend Steve Davis. Her children are Brandi England (Delbert) and Steven Davis. She was blessed by five grandchildren; Brittany, Kaitlin, Payton, Joey and Tyler. In addition Debra is survived by her two sisters Colette Mitchell and Roxane Peters. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who she adored. 

Debra was a resident of Manteca for over 20 years. She was employed by Marshalls in Tracy for eight years. She was devoted member of Crossroads Grace Community Church in Manteca. She enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with her faithful companion Bailey, her Bichon Frise dog. She loved a day out shopping with her daughter and granddaughters; always looking for the best deals in town. When not with her family Debra was tied at the hip to her very best friend of 25 years Carol Anglin. Debra and Carol had a bond that was like no other, their friendship was unconditional. She loved to relax outdoors especially when it came to camping and fishing. Her spunky personality always came shining through when singing along to her favorite county music station. She enjoyed many day and weekend trips with family and friends to local casinos where she loved to socialize. She loved to travel as one of her most memorable vacations was a cruise with her dear friend Pat.  She enjoyed many programs on TV but especially loved American Idol. Debra will be remembered as a loving feisty mom and grandma who was always nurturing and giving to everyone she loved.   

P.L. Fry & Son is honored to be serving the Davis family. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 1  to 5 p.m. held at P.L .Fry & Son 290 N. Union Road, Manteca. Services will be held on Wednesday March 5th, 2014 at 11 a.m. also held at P.L. Fry & Son.  She will be laid to rest at Ripon Cemetery.
