Delia Marie Criado, 61, entered into rest on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at her home in Manteca.  She was born on March 26, 1950 in California.  In heaven, she joins her father Yasmael Mejia.

Delia leaves behind her loving husband Ruben A. Criado of Manteca; three children; Israel Rodriguez, Leilani Rodriguez, and Peter Rodriguez, two step children; Ruben Criado Jr. and Roseann Criado; her beloved mother, Patricia Mejia of Campbell.  She was blessed with four grandchildren and five step grandchildren; one sister Rose Boaz, and four brothers, Frank Mejia, Pete Mejia, Ysmael Mejia Jr. and Jesse Mejia.

Delia was an elementary school teacher for the Sunnyvale School District for 15 years.  She enjoyed cooking for her family, gardening, knitting and reading books.  She loved to watch her favorite television show “The Price is Right” and she was a devoted San Francisco Giants and Forty Niner fan.

Arrangements for Mrs. Criado are under the direction of PL Fry & Son Funeral Service.  A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at PL Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N.
