Denise Couvrette Thompson, a native of Montreal (Verdun), Quebec, Canada, passed away at home in Manteca, California on June 25, 2014. Denise is survived by five children, Robert (Bobby) Thompson, Norman Thompson, Louise Braden, Diane La Valley, and Patrick Thompson and eight grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
   Denise attended West Valley College, Saratoga, California and achieved a License Vocational Nursing (LVN) degree. She worked for Los Gatos Community Rehabilitation Center and Kaiser Santa Clara for many years before retiring at the age of 71. Denise is an avid world traveler, visiting many countries and continents. Denise loved her accomplishments of world a traveler.
   A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held July 27, 2014 at 2 pm at the Del Webb Woodbridge Lakeview Clubhouse, 2401 Morning Brook Drive, Manteca, California. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Community Hospice Inc., 4368 Spyres Way, Modesto, CA 95356 in Denise’s name.
