Dennis Lee Standridge Sr.

Dennis Lee Standridge Sr., 61, entered into rest on January 10, 2016 in Escalon. He was born on June 20, 1954 in French Camp. In heaven he joins his father Charles Standridge and grandson Dennis Lee Standridge III.
   Dennis leaves behind his loving wife of 43 years Donna Standridge of Escalon, his mother, Darlene Standridge and stepmother, Laurene Standridge. He has three children, Jennifer Machuca (Tommy) of Stockton, Dennis Lee Standridge Jr. (Norma) of Salida and Christina Lefeaux (Marcus) Virginia Beach. Dennis was blessed with eight grandchildren, Gerald, Grace, Andrew, Hope, Elias, Camila, Hunter and Madison. In addition Dennis is survived by his brother Allan Standridge of Arkansas. 
   Dennis was an Escalon resident. He was a heavy machine operator for years and a proud member of the Operators Union Local 3. Dennis worked for David T. Price of Escalon, where he felt all his coworkers as family.
   Dennis had a wonderful sense of humor. He had an answer for and question, incredibly smart and witty. He was great on giving advice and was passionate about every subject. He worked hard and felt at peace on his tractor; he loved getting dirty. He enjoyed spending time with his family, his grandchildren where his pride and joy. His wife was his best friend, they were inseparable. He will be remembered as a loving husband, amazing father and special grandfather. He will truly be missed.
   P.L. Fry is honored to serve the Standridge family. A visitation will be held at P.L. Fry and Son, 290 North Union Road, Manteca on Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 10:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. followed by a Chapel service at 1:30p.m. He will be laid to rest at Parkview Cemetery, 3661 East French Camp Road, French Camp.
