  Dennis Wayne Rudy passed away peacefully on Monday, December 28, 2015 at his home in Manteca, CA. He was born December 7, 1939 in Highland Park, Michigan to Audrey and Wayne Rudy.
  He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jacqueline, children Wayne (Kathy), Craig (Annette) and Kristin (Rafael), eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren with two more on the way.
  The oldest of nine children Dennis is survived by brothers Brian and Terry and sisters Kathleen Johnson, Maureen Rudy and Shannon Rose. He was preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Audrey, son John Bosco and brothers Tim, Gavin and Patrick.
  Dennis attended All Saints Catholic School, graduated from Bishop O’Dowd High School of Hayward in 1957 and graduated from Cal-State Hayward. He served in the US Navy from 1958 to 1964, returning to the east bay (Fremont) to raise his family.
  He worked for Lockheed from 1962 until he retired in 1994. After he retired, Dennis and Jacqueline spent many years traveling and taking cruises, visiting all 50 states and many countries.
  Dennis was successful and respected in life, whether in his career or coaching youth sports and to all that know him he was loyal and trusted. He will be missed.
  Funeral services will be held January 20, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 505 E. North St., Manteca, CA 95336.
  There will be a Celebration of Life at the Woodbridge Clubhouse after the services.
