Dianne Gayle Sexton, 62, passed away at home in Manteca with her family by her side on April 27, 2010.

Dianne was born on April 7, 1948 in Stockton, California, to Dolores Riley of Manteca and the late Daniel B. Riley. She is survived by her mother, Dolores Riley; husband of thirty-five years, Alan Sexton of Manteca; daughters Claudia Costa-DeGroot (Nick) of Oakdale, Stacey Haena (David) of Manteca, Carly Sexton (Jason King, fiancé) of Manteca; sister Desirae Corso of French Camp; and eight grandchildren, Derek DeGroot, Dallen DeGroot, Marcus Haena, Travis King, Samantha King, Alaina Haena, Mercades DeGroot, and Samuel Haena. Dianne was preceded in death by her father, Daniel B. Riley and siblings Daniel B. Riley II, Debra Riley, and Darnell Riley.

Dianne will always be remembered as a loving and caring wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Family time and holiday togetherness were important to her. Dianne’s generosity and kind heart will continue to be an inspiration to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Dianne had many talents. She had a passion for arts and crafts and was a meticulous seamstress. She enjoyed gardening and the outdoors. These hobbies were some of the many ways Dianne spent quality time with each of her daughters and grandchildren.

Dianne graduated from Manteca High School and the nursing program at San Joaquin Delta College. She worked as a registered nurse at San Joaquin General Hospital, and considered this career as one of her finest accomplishments.

At Dianne’s request, services will be private. Her final resting place will be at Park View Cemetery in Manteca. Arrangements are being handled by Park View Funeral Home, 3661 E. French Camp Road in Manteca.
