Dr. Roderick James (Jim) Longpre died on June 5th 2012.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years Wilma (Willie) Longpre.  Children, Patricia (Randy) Diven, Annette(Paul) Boomer, Renee' (Brian) Parks, Mark (Patricia) Longpre, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren whom he loved dearly.

He served his country in the Navy during WWII and as a Marine in the Korean Affair.  He was a graduate of the University of Detroit and the University of Detroit Dental School and later practiced dentistry in Manteca and Escalon with a sincere love for his patients.

In 1979 received the Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. With his beloved Willie, family and friends he shared his love of golf, food and travel. He was the life of the party and will be forever in our hearts.

A Rosary with Mass immediately following will be held on Friday July 20th beginning at 12 noon. St. Patricks Church, 19399 E. Hwy 120, Ripon.  Interment to follow at St Johns Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to an organization of your choice.
