Edna Belle (McCracken) Bedsaul, age 88, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2011 in Manteca.  She was born on January 1, 1923 in Bent County, Colorado to the late Robert Lee and Lora Victoria McCracken.  Edna was pre-ceded in death by her husband, Floyd Bedsaul and her siblings, Dorthey Smith, Russell McCracken, Betty Rodriguez Neville and Richard McCracken.

Edna was a resident of Manteca since May 1940.  She worked at San Joaquin Telephone Company from 1954 through 1983, almost 30 years before retiring. Edna loved to travel and enjoyed trips to Hawaii and abroad to Switzerland, Germany and Italy.  She and Floyd traveled by motor home to almost every state.  She loved fishing and spent many summers with Floyd in their trailer at Pardee Dam.  Edna and Floyd started the “Trailblazers Square Dance Club” along with her brother Richard and Lupe McCracken.  The club became statewide and there would be as many as 25 to 30 “squares” dancing at many of the local events they attended.  Edna was a cub scout den mother in the early 1950’s and a member of S.H.A.R.P.S. from 2000 to 2002.  In later years, she loved oil painting.  Wednesdays became “hobby days” where her sisters and brothers got together and would spend hours painting and sharing memories.

Edna is survived by her children, daughter, Vivian Sarina and husband, Mario, and son, Kenneth Bedsaul and wife, Beverly.  She was blessed with 4 grandchil-dren, Robin Giuntoli, Michelle Andres, Kenny Bedsaul and Amy Johnston; 9 great grandchildren, Jacqueline and Janelle Giuntoli; Shaley, Theoron and McKenna Andres, Kaylee and Jordan Bedsaul, and Finn and Lincoln Johnston.  Edna is also sur-vived by her sister, Viola McDaniel.

Services for Edna Bedsaul are under the direction of PL Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Road, Manteca.  A chapel service is scheduled for Monday, June 20, at 2:00 p.m. at PL Fry & Son Funeral Home.  Final resting place will be Park View Cemetery, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca.
