Edward Brooks Gale, age 76, passed away on January 19, 2021 at a skilled nursing rehab center in Utah . He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Mary , children, Brooks Gale (Kathy), Michelle Eavenson (Dan), brother James Gale, three step children, 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and dogs Brody and Riley. Ed passed away shortly after being visited by his family, Mary, granddaughter Ashley Gilbert and spouse Anthony, great grandchildren Brenton and James.  
   Ed was born in Richmond, Virginia and resided in Idaho Falls, Idaho with his grandchildren and wife. He was the son of Ned Brooks Gale and Arlene Scoby. He graduated from Manteca high school and attended Modesto Junior College. Ed was in the lumber industry from right out of high school until his retirement. He was last employed by Stockton Wholesale Lumber until retirement.
   He was a Sunday member of Watersprings Church of Idaho Falls, Idaho. His favorite hobby was golf. He also loved watching his favorite shows on TV with lemonade and graham crackers. During his retirement he loved to drive in his golf cart around the ranch with his best dog Hannah.
   He will rest in peace at Park View cemetery in French Camp, California.
