Eleanor Lawrence Gikas
Manteca resident over 50 years

Eleanor Lawrence Gikas, 83, passed away on Sunday, February 21. Eleanor was born in Stockton and graduated from Stockton High School. She lived in Manteca for over 50 years where she raised her children. Eleanor was known for her infectious laugh and love for entertaining. She had a kind and generous spirit and was involved in the community through various clubs and organizations such as the Emblem Club, Iris Club, California Woman for Agriculture, and Manteca Soroptimist. Traveling was one of her favorite hobbies.

Eleanor is survived by her husband Mike G. Gikas; son Kent Gikas (Julie) of Stockton; daughter, Carol Reagor (Royce) of Manteca; four grandchildren, Christopher Gikas of Los Gatos, Evan Gikas of Stockton, Alison and Allyse Reagor of Manteca; and her dear caregiver Kurt Debulgado.

Visitation for Eleanor will be held on Monday, March 1, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Park View Chapel, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca. A private burial will take place at Park View Cemetery, Manteca. Arrangements are being handled by Park View Funeral Home, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Community Hospice, 4368 Spyres Way, Modesto, CA 95356, or to your favorite charity.
