Mr. Elisario M. Fresquez, Jr. passed away on Monday, April 6, 2009, in Manteca surrounded by his family. A native of Carlsbad, New Mexico, he was born on Nov. 23, 1950 to Elisario and Alice Fresquez.

Mr. Fresquez served in the United States Army. After his honorable discharge, he was employed at the Tracy Defense Depot for 29 years. He is survived by his wife, Linda A. Fresquez; children, Jason Fresquez, Mercy Flores, Elysa Steele and Francisco Fresquez; grandchildren, Andre Dickerson, Alexander Flores, Avery Flores, Pablo Fresquez, Ava Steele, Anahi Fresquez, Evan  Cooper, Bella Cooper, Krystal Madera and Aileen Madera; siblings, Larry Fresquez, Rosie Vasquez and Linda B. Fresquez; and his mother, Mrs. Alice M. Fresquez. He was preceded in death by his father, Elisario Fresquez, Sr.

Funeral services will be celebrated on Friday, April 10, at 10 a.m. at De Young Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California Street, Stockton. A wake service will be held this evening at 6 o’clock at De Young Memorial Chapel. Visitation was held Wednesday, April 8, from 2 to 7 p.m., and will be held today from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. at De Young Memorial Chapel. Committal will be at Park View Cemetery in Manteca.
