Elizabeth was born in Dubuque, Iowa and moved to Pleasanton, CA where she graduated from Amador High School.

She earned her Masters Degree in teaching (MAT) then taught school for  years and loved every minute of it.  Her many students throughout those years benefited by her special skills and unique way of teaching and connecting with them.  Without Exception, all her students and their parents adored her as did her peers and school staff members.

Elizabeth was known as Bette for many years but she really desired to be called Liz, so when she moved from Pleasanton to Manteca she became known to her new neighbors and friends at Del Webb as Liz.  Sh enjoyed living in Del Webb making many friends during the 10 years that she and her husband, Raymond lived there. During the past 4 1/2 years she lived at Bethany Home in Ripon, CA where again made friends with her new neighbors.
