Ella K. McChesney, age 101, passed away peacefully at her home in Manteca on Christmas Eve.
Born and raised in North Dakota, Ella moved to California in 1944 where she met Ralph N. McChesney, Jr. They soon married and has lived in Manteca since 1946. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church for over 73 years and proudly worked at the Brown-Mahin Dept. Store for over 31 years. Ella lived a full life and had many interests including cooking, sewing and enjoying her family. Ella was preceded in death of her husband of over 54 years, Ralph, Jr., and leaves behind four children, Sandra Ross (Ronald), Cynthia Darling (Alan), Joyce Arcieri, and Ralph, III. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
