Elma Ellen Younts, 100, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 in Manteca.  She was born on January 18, 1910 in Nevada, Missouri.  She was a resident of Manteca over 50 years.

In heaven she joins her husband the late Kenneth Lloyd Younts. She leaves behind her one and only daughter Sandra L. Harp of Manteca; grandchildren John P. Harp of Turlock, Elizabeth A. McCrady and husband Michael of Durham, and Chris Harp and wife Nicole of Escalon. Elma leaves six beautiful great-grandchildren. Isac, Salina, Christopher, Michael, Theodore and the newest addition baby Vivienne.

Elma taught elementary school for over 50 years in Missouri and California. She was a member of the Republican Woman, the Grange and Tracy Fireman Auxiliary. Elma was an avid Avon product collector always collecting all their latest limited edition products. She always found herself at peace tending to all of her farm animals and all of her loving cats. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. Her daughter was the love of her life and she always enjoyed spending time with her and her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Elma will be remembered for her loving and generous heart she will be missed dearly.   

Services are being handled by P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Friday June 4, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Parkview Cemetery, 3661 French Camp Road French Camp CA. An online guestbook is available at www.plfryandson.com for condolences.
