Esther Espino, at the age of 100 years old, entered into rest on Thursday, January 3, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the late Jess and Jovita Martin on December 4, 1918 in Redbanks, CA. She joins her husband, Ralph Espino, whom she was happily married to for 56 years in heaven, along with her son, Ralph Mark Espino, and her brothers Salvador, Alexander and Jess Martin.

Esther was blessed with three grandchildren, Ricky Sadorra (Monica) of Manteca, Dolores Baluyut (Fred) of Manteca and Anthony Sadorra (Rae) of Morris, IL; her nine great-grandchildren, Aiden Foster, Raylene Sadorra, Ricky Sadorra, Amaya Baluyut, Christian Baluyut, Zavier Sadorra, Elle Baluyut, Jace Sadorra and Gregory Baluyut, were truly one of the most important parts of her life. In addition, Esther leaves behind her sister Margie Cruz and her daughter Rachael Sadorra (Richard) of Manteca.

Esther’s smile and laughter always brightened a room. She was always known for being so kind and giving. She loved taking care of her family and found such joy in feeding all whom she welcomed into her home and sat for a meal at her table. Her family will always remember her homemade tortillas and the bean burritos she always made for them. Being a homemaker and taking care of her family was a job she did not take lightly. Since 1965, Esther was a member at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and was involved in The Legion of Mary Ministry and the Shawl Ministry. The time she spent with her grand- children and her great-grandchildren was what she treasured most. Esther will be deeply missed by all who loved and knew her.

The family would like to thank LifeGuard Hospice for their genuine care and compassion during this difficult time. They would also like to thank all of their many family and friends for the outpouring of love and support.
