Esther Marie (Goette) Rhiner 92, entered into rest on Monday, February 13, 2012 in Manteca. She was born in Wyoming on October 13, 1919  to the late Henry and Effie Goette.

She is survived by her children, son Robert Rhiner and wife Pat of Discovery Bay and daughter Linda and husband Don Buser of Manteca.  She was blessed with five grandchildren, Tammy and husband Brian, Robert Jr. and wife Kristen, Michael and wife Nicole, Amy and Sherri. Esther has nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and one due in July. In addition Esther has one surviving sister Betty Null and many nieces and nephews.

Esther was a Cub scout and Girl scout leader as well as President of the Manteca Federation of Woman and President of Camilia Gardens Home Owners Association.  In addition Esther was a volunteer at St. Dominic's Hospital Esther was married to the love of her life Bud for sixty years. She loved her family and always enjoyed family get-togethers. She was always knitting or sewing gifts for her children and grandchildren. She and Bud were involved in many craft fairs where they sold her knitted items and her wooden toys.Esther read many books and loved politics. She loved to play bingo and play bridge and do crossword puzzles. She also loved fishing.

Arrangements for Ms. Rhiner are under the direction of P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca. A Celebration of Life will be held at her daughter's home, 1827 Winchester Drive, Manteca on February 25th, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Manteca Federation of Woman Scholarship Program, P.O.
