Eulys (Joe) Morgan, 89 went to live with his heavenly father July 5, 2018.  He was born in Lindsay, OK on June 5, 1929. He was a friendly person who never met a stranger.
The nickname of Joe came along in his younger days when he and his dad with their horses and mule packed people into the Sierras to go hunting.  They named themselves after the Bonanza Bunch, his dad being pa and he was little Joe.  As a teenager Eulys broke horses and he and his dad did amateur rodeo, Eulys being a bareback rider.
At the age of 19, Eulys joined the Field Artillery in Stockton 49th infantry division as a private.  His military career lasted for 43 years where he had worked himself up to a CW04.  He was very proud of his military career and was a member of the VFW and American Legion and helped putting out the flags in Manteca.
Eulys was the beloved husband of Doris, and father of Cheri Hardy (Joe) and grandfather to Joseph Hardy and brother of Opal Robinson.  He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three children, Michael McDonald, Rusty Morgan and Pamela Cole.
Eulys loved his small ranch where he loved being on his tractor taking care of his almond orchard.
Eulys and Doris traveled the world.  A lot of their travels were with the Military Space Available program where the traveled to their destination in military planes.  They were married for 54 years.
His family loved him dearly and it will be so hard to have him missing from our lives. He will be in our hearts every day.
