Evelyn “Evie” Bails was born June 5, 1930 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.

She enjoyed sewing, crafting and being with her family.  Evelyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She always had a smile on her face.  She suffered for many years with Parkinson’s disease and went with peace on November 27, 2010, at Wine Country Care Center in Lodi.

Evelyn left behind her husband, Donald Bails, daughter, Connie Schaffer, daughter-in-law, Vicky Evans, granddaughters, Cori, Shalee, Cassi, Elise and Leah, and great-grandsons, Ben, Jack (and soon-to-be Quinn).  Her loving son, Jerry Evans, went to be with the Lord on October 28, 2010, just a month ago.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, Dec. 3, at 2 p.m. at Linden Cemetery on Cody Lane, Linden, CA 95236.  There is no visitation.  Lodi Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.
