After her husband’s passing in 1980 Mrs. Lopez moved from Mexico to Oakland where she lived for 25 years. Fausta worked for many different restaurants throughout the Bay Area as a cook. She was most at peace when she would be cooking up one of her favorite dishes whether it was from a cook book or something she made from scratch. She always found the time to make every meal special for her family.  She will always be remembered as a strong hard working woman who was loved very much.

Mrs. Lopez services are being handled by P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home of Manteca. Visitation is being held Thursday, February 11, from 1 to 7 p.m.  with a rosary immediately following at 7 p.m. Mrs. Lopez will be laid to rest in her home of Zinaparo, Michoacan, Mexico. An on-line guest book is available for words of condolences at www.plfryandson.com
