Felix Diaz Jr. 52, passed away on June 6, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. He was born December 24, 1957 to Mr. and Mrs. Felix Sr. and Cecelia Diaz in French Camp, California.

Felix leaves behind his daughter Rita Yousefzaden, two loving grandchildren Isabelle and Edwin Yousefzaden, all of Turlock.

He leaves his loving parents Mr. and Mrs. Felix Sr. and Cecelia Diaz of Manteca; 3 siblings, Julie Gordon of Manteca, Rita Smith of Texas and John Diaz of Manteca. Felix was blessed by 8 nieces and nephews; John Diaz Jr., Joe Diaz, Erica Smith, Amanda Smith, Phillip Placencia, Michelle Placencia. He held an extra special place in his heart for his niece Cecilia Saucedo and his nephew Albert Gordon. 

Felix was a veteran of the US Army serving proudly for 4 years. He worked for Pilkington Glass Company for 10 years. Felix was a resident of Manteca. As a child Felix attended Golden West Elementary School going on to graduate from East Union High School. Felix enjoyed horse races as well as visiting his local casinos. One of his favorite pastimes was baseball which he played throughout his whole life in different teams in the Manteca area.  He was a loving father and grandfather. His family always came first; they were his pride and joy always. Felix was a hardworking and caring man lending a helping hand to anyone who needed it.  Felix was an amazing person all the way around as described by his father Felix Sr. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

Arrangements are being handled by P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home 290 N. Union Road, Manteca. Visitation will be Saturday, June 19, 2010 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a Celebration of Life immediately following at 1p.m. An on-line guest book is available for your condolences to the family of Felix at www.plfryandson.com.
