Geneva Fredriks was born on July 12, 1914 to Ralph and Hattie Tapp in Melvin, Iowa.  Geneva went home to be with her Lord on March 27, 2011.  She had four brothers and three sisters.  On June 9, 1937, she married Audley Fredriks and together they farmed in Minnesota.  In 1946, they moved to Ripon, California.  She was a homemaker, but also helped her husband on the farm.

She is survived by her two sons, Larry (Joni) and Terry (Tammy), and two daughters, Arlowyn (Ed), and Leesa (Stephen), twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her siblings, her husband Audley, and her daughter Myrna.

She was a member of Calvary Reformed Church for 60-plus years and loved serving her Lord through many church activities.  She enjoyed doing things with her family:  camping, fishing, or just being home making afghans for her children and grandchildren.  Geneva was dearly loved and will be missed by all.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2011 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel.  Graveside services are on Friday, April 1, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Ripon Cemetery.  A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. at Calvary Reformed Church, Ripon.  Memorial donations can be made to the Bethany Home at 930 W. Main Street, Ripon.  There is an online guest book available for you to share your memories and condolences; please visit our website at www.deeganfuneralchapels.com
