Genevieve Dorraine Alldrin, age 95, has passed away. She was born in Ripon, California to Sybil and Harfred Ahlgren.    A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 29 at 12:00 p.m. at Lakewood Memorial Park in Hughson.

   Genevieve grew up on a farm and attended schools in Ripon.  She graduated from Ripon High School in 1944 as salutatorian of her class. Then she attended San Jose State majoring in music. In 1947, she wed Donald Alldrin and they were married for 67 years until his death in 2014. Genevieve taught piano lessons and was a public school teacher in Stockton and Modesto. She taught at Enslen School for 22 years until her retirement in 1988.  For most of her life, she served as a church pianist. In 1996, she and Don moved to the Lake Don Pedro Community where she lived until her most recent illness. She loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed playing piano, reading, gardening, baking and entertaining friends and family.                                      Genevieve is survived by her sons Melford Alldrin of Avery and Gordon Alldrin of Turlock, grandchildren Neil, Ryan, Erik and Linnea Alldrin, Katrina Mendez and three great-grandchildren. Remembrance donations can be made to Lake Don Pedro Baptist Church.
