George Virgil Taylor passed away peacefully on December 12, 2020 at his home in Ripon at the age of 91. George was born on August 4, 1929 to parents, Paul and Eustacia Taylor in Champaign, Illinois. George has been a resident of Ripon since 1943.
George proudly served in the US Army from 1951 until 1956. He had a strong work ethic and worked in construction for nearly 70 years. He was strong willed, mischievous and cantankerous. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
George leaves behind his wife, Pamela Sue Taylor, together the couple spent 32 years together. George also leaves behind four children, four step children, 18 grandchildren and many more great grandchildren. George also leaves behind a sister and a brother. George is preceded in death by three sisters.
Deegan Funeral Chapels is honored to serve the Taylor family. A graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, December 19, at 1:00 p.m. at Ripon Cemetery.
