Georgia Kingsley (McLane)

Georgia Kingsley (McLane) was born on February 10th, 1935 in Lodi, CA and passed from this life on March 10th at the age of 80.  
   Georgia married Melvin Kingsley in 1963.  She lived in Manteca, CA for 30 years before moving to Modesto, CA in 2003.  Georgia was a lady of strong spirit, intelligence, and compassion who touched the lives of everyone who knew her.  She was loved by many, and will be greatly missed.  
   Georgia achieved her lifelong dream when she earned her Bachelors of Arts degree in fine art in 1978.  She was a talented painter, and sculptor.  Georgia was a Girl Scout Troop Leader for many years, and an avid supporter of the Manteca Cowboys.  Georgia was an Enrolled Agent with the IRS, and owned a tax preparation business for many years.  Georgia loved to adventure and travel.  Her most recent trip was to the Island Dominica in the Caribbean.  
   She is survived by her son Eric Kingsley of Monterey, daughter Nina Kingsley-Keller (Lloyd) of Modesto, granddaughter Meaghan Kingsley-Teem of Modesto, and brother Thomas McLane (Nadine) of Stockton.  
   She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Kingsley and her parents.  
    A graveside service will be held on April 4th, 2015 at 10:00 am at Park View Cemetery in Manteca.   
   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Paralyzed Veterans of America, or the Nature Conservancy.
