Gina Mejorado, 42, entered into rest on July 1, 2012 in Manteca, CA. She was born in Redding on January 31, 1970.

Gina was an only child survived by both of her parents Ronald Wright and Kristeen Rupert and step-father Jim. She has two loving children Brooke and Logan Mejorado. She also is survived by her grandmother Yuna Westfall, as well as several extended family members and close friends who loved her dearly.

Gina was an amazing mother, daughter and friend. Her vibrant personality always lit up the room as she always made great friends and great conversations.  She was a 1988 graduate of Tracy High School. After high school she attended Woodruff Cosmetology to pursue her dream of being a hairstylist. For the past 20 years Gina has had many devoted clients that she adored. Just six years ago she took a job at Manteca Unified School District as a Yard Supervisor at Lincoln Elementary. She then realized she had an instant connection with children and loved her job. She was an amazing cook and loved good times, good food with great friends. Her dog Buster was her true companion always at her side.  Gina’s first and foremost priority was her children, Brooke and Logan. She was their number one fan always cheering them on in each personal activities. She never missed a moment to dote over them whether it was academically or athletically; she always encouraged them in their goals and dreams. Gina will be remembered as an incredible mother and friend who always put her family first. She will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. held at New Hope Church, 17218 Comconex Rd., Manteca CA. In lieu of flowers donations are “strongly encouraged” for the Mejorado children. Donations can be sent to Financial Center Credit Union, Trust Fund Gina Mejorado.
