Gladys passed away Friday, November 11, peacefully at Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. Gladys is preceded in death by her husband Del Taylor who passed away in July of 1999. She is survived by her children: Joyce and Tim McElrath, Dave and Dotty Taylor of Manteca and Cliff and Claudia Taylor of Auburn CA. Nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Her brother Al and Charlotte Burtis of Modesto, and many nieces and nephews.

She was a very special lady and will be missed. She enjoyed family gatherings and watching her grandchildren’s and great-grandchildren’s activities. She loved fishing and camping. She was an avid Oakland Raider and Oakland A’s fan. She liked playing and watching golf.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 20, at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel, 419 Scenic Dr., Modesto from 1pm to 4pm. Services will be on Monday, November 21, at 10am at La Loma Grace Brethren Church, 1315 LaLoma Ave., Modesto. Internment at Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Hospice, 4368 Spyres Way, Modesto, CA 95356.
