Gloria Ann Castro, 40, entered into rest on Friday, March 15, 2013 in French Camp. She was born on February 4, 1973 in French Camp to Martin and Georgianna Castro.

She leaves behind her parents as well as her adored children; Josephine Valdez (9), Morelia Valdez (5) and J.Elijah Valdez (4mon.). Gloria is the sister of Mary Castro, Martin Victor Castro and John Larry Castro all of French Camp. She has was blessed with six nieces and nephews; Andrew Gutierrez (Athena), Antonio Gutierrez, Georgianna Gutierrez, Alexander Gutierrez, Elyzabeth Castro, Kaleigh Castro and one great niece Adiline Gutierrez. Gloria leaves many aunts and uncles cousins and friends.

Gloria was a descendent of Barbareno/Venturena Band of Mission Indians (Chumash).

Gloria was a lifetime resident of French Camp. She attended French Camp Elementary School and East Union High School. She worked at Bethany Home in Ripon before staying home with her new baby Elijah. She had many friends and was always the life of the party. Gloria was always welcoming to new comers, and had open arms for everyone and a meal at her table for visitors. She loved her children more than words can describe and dedicated all her moments to them. She was a best friend to her siblings and cherished daughter to her parents. She will be remembered for her contagious smile and her warm heart. She will be forever loved and missed, by her family and friends. P.L.
