Grady Adams

 Grady H. Adams, 81, entered into rest on November 19, 2015 in Modesto, CA. He was born on September 1, 1934 in Forester, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his parents; Clearance and Matilda Adams, six siblings and one son Douglas Adams.
   Mr. Adams is survived by his loving family; wife of 60 years Elaine Adams, children; Steven Adams (Pat), Karen Stoffel (Valdon), David Adams (Pam) and Barry Adams (Ruth Anne).  He was blessed by 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. In addition, he leaves behind his three brothers Roy, Bob and Donald Adams. Grady worked for the railroad for over 40 years before retiring. While working for the railroad Grady also worked as the Secretary-Treasurer for the Transportation Communication Union (TCU) as well as a member of the Brotherhood of Railroads. Grady enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling. He was an avid fan of the San Francisco 49ers, Giants and Oakland A’s. His friendly outgoing personality always brightened up any room as he was ready to tell the last joke to anyone who would listen. He was always fun-loving which drew babies and children to love and adore him. He was a devoted family who loved unconditionally. Grady will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed.          
   P.L. Fry & Son is honored to be serving the Adams family. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. held at P.L. Fry & Son, 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca, CA.          Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 11 a.m. also held at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home.
