Harold “Harry” White passed away on January 20, 2013 at the age of 58, after a brief illness.
He was born on March 3, 1954 and attended local schools, was an Eagle Scout and began his career as an engineer. He moved to the Diamond Springs area where he raised three daughters and instilled in them the knowledge of power tools, auto mechanics and fishing. He was in his element in the serenity of the wild and loved to go camping. Sitting by the fire he had endless stories to share. He lived by the strings of his guitar. He loved sharing his musical gifts with others. Whether he was backpacking through Europe, traveling with his band “Ecstasy” or circled by his three daughters playing the “Duck Song”.
Harold is survived by his daughters; Stephanie, Terra, and Shantele of the greater Placerville area, brother William of Dubai, David of Escalon, Jeffrey of Kingsburg and Thomas of Manteca, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and mother William and Chieko White, and his niece Christie White.
A celebration of Harry’s life will be at a later date. Although Harry left us he still reminds us that life is easy when all you need is love.
