Helen Agnes Ftacek, 89, entered into rest March 26, 2018 in Manteca. She was born April 15, 1928 in Ohio. In heaven she joins her husband Albert Ftacek, her son Dennis, daughter Anne Rose and her brother John Strazinsky.
   Helen leaves behind her children, Steve Ftacek of Roseville, James Ftacek (Linda) of Atwater, Karen Sayers of Roseville, Mary Hayes (Bill) of MO, Therese Mason (Bob) of Manteca, Victoria Spencer (Ken) of Atwater, Judy Nebeker (Craig) of OR and Philip Ftacek of Manteca. Helen was blessed with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition she has one surviving brother Stephen Strazinsky (Roseanne) of TN.
  Helen was a Manteca a resident. She retired from the Laura Scudder Potato Chip Plant. Helen was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, where all her children attended school and was a member of the Y.L.I.
   She enjoyed camping, crocheted beautifully and listening to a great ZZ Top song. She loved to socialize and had countless friends. She was a collector of many things and was a Shirley Temple enthusiast. She loved her family dearly and was proud of her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Helen will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.
   P.L. Fry and Son is honored to serve the Ftacek family. A visitation will held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by a rosary at
7:00 p.m.  A mass will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 505 East North Street, Manteca. She will be laid rest at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, 17871 S. Carrolton Road, Escalon, CA.
