Helen Cathrine Jeutic BW

Helen Catherine Jevtic, 88, of Manteca, California passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2014. She was born Oct. 6, 1925, in North Dakota. She was the daughter of the late John Joseph Copps and Essie Catherine Spalding. Helen lived in Washington, D.C., where she attended business college during World War II. Helen lived in Manteca for the past 40 years with her late husband, Branko Jevtic, where she raised her three boys: Jim Jevtic from Texas, George Jevtic, and John Jevtic, both of Manteca. She also had one grandson, Jason Jevtic. Helen had several neices: Jeanette Taylor from Orlando, Fla., Mary Jo Frison, Annelle Frison from Colorado, and Peggy Pazderic from North Dakota. Helen had two brothers: the late Ernest Copps and Walter Copps; and two sisters, the late Mary Frison, and Alice Ellen Irwin.
Helen worked in the medical field at the San Joaquin County Hospital. She was a very spiritual lady, loved her Catholic Church, St. Anthony’s, and read a lot about the Lord. She loved to cook and was very involved in genealogy. She loved playing bridge with her friends at the lovely gated community of Camellia Gardens. Helen also loved to garden and her beautiful backyard showed just how good she was at gardening.
Helen loved her sons dearly and will be sorely missed. She was a very beautiful and wonderful lady who had the touch of an angel. Just being in her presence showed us the beauty of life and how wonderful it really can be. She will be remembered for her wonderful smile and her gift of love. We are all better people to have known such a wonderful lady. “Your mother is always with you...Not time, not space...Not even death... will ever separate you from your mother...You carry her inside you...”
Burial services will be private.
