Henrica L. Ostler, passed away the afternoon of September 26th, at Doctor’s Hospital of Manteca, surrounded by her family. She was 70 years old.
Henrica was born April 14, 1945 in Maastricht Holland to Joseph and Catharina Day. She grew up the oldest of two children, in Orem, Utah. In 1963, she married her high school sweetheart, Russell Ostler. The couple had two children and were married 53 years.
While raising her children, Henrica worked as an office manager, and small business owner. She then enjoyed an early retirement, which enabled her to travel and spend time with her family.
Henrica is survived by her husband, Russell Ostler, son Toby Ostler (Alicyn), daughter; Tracy Johnson (Scott), brother; John Day (Michele), six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Catharina Day.
A graveside service will be on October 9th, 2:30 p.m. at St. John’s cemetery, 17871 Carrolton Road, Escalon.
A celebration of life luncheon will take place immediately after wards at Almond Blossom Estates clubhouse, located at 1901 E. Yosemite Ave, Manteca from 4-6pm. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
