Herman B. Milan was born on the beautiful island of Hawaii to parents
Innocencio  and Maria Milan.

He passed away into heaven this last Sunday to join his wife of almost 64 years.
He is preceded in death by his wife Tessie, and son Robert.

Herman was a WWII veteran, who was honored with the Bronze Star for his protection of a Major General in the European Zone. He enjoyed reminiscing about his time in the
army, working in his backyard garden, visiting with friends and neighbors, and having his sip of vino.
Herman lived most of his life in Hayward after coming over from Hawaii when he was nine years old. The last 14 years he resided in Manteca and was blessed with wonderful neighbors who always looked out for him, especially when he lost his wife Tessie last year.

Herman is survived by his daughter Mary Dyer
Davis of  Keizer, OR and son, Richard Milan (Elena) of Castro Valley, CA.  He is also survived by three grandsons,  Matthew Milan Studio City, CA. Alexander Milan Austin, TX and Aaron Milan, Santa Barbara, CA.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 1:30 pm at Park View Cemetery and Funeral Home, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca, CA. 95336, 209-982-1611.
