Herman Coy Robertson, 86, entered into rest on June 5, 2022. He was born in Georgetown, Illinois on January 22, 1936. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Nettie Robertson, first wife Barbara and his second wife Hazel and his siblings, Mary, Alberta, Lawrence and Josephine.
Mr. Robertson is survived by his children, Michael W. Robertson (Lisa), Mark A. Robertson and Michele A. Hunter, grandchildren, Lynn (Keith), Cory, Stephanie (Jessey), Krystle, Kacey, Lisa, Tina, Robert (Amy), Joshua, Reece, Forest and Patrick and 18 great-grandchildren as well as four siblings, Harvey Robertson (Lynn), Claude Robertson (Ilene), Leo Robertson (Emily) and Lorene Luce.
Herman retired from Safeway in Manteca/Tracy as a Meat Manager. He was a life-long member of First Baptist Church of Manteca. Family was most important to Herman, his heart was always full when surrounded by his children and grandchildren. Herman was an extremely giving man; he volunteered and gave of his time wherever it was needed. He loved attending services and events at First Baptist church where he was the first one with a smile on his face greeting new attendees and always making everyone feel welcomed. Herman loved collecting John Deere memorabilia, traveling and following his favorite teams on TV; Warriors, Giants and SF 49ers. Herman will be remembered as a man of God who loved his family unconditionally.
P.L. Fry & Son is honored to be serving the Robertson family. A memorial service will be held on Friday June 17, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. held at P.L. Fry & Son Chapel, 290 N.
